Nutrisystem DietAs with most mass market, the claims on this diet are about how to take the weight off gradually and keep it off – except they have Janet Jackson as their spokesperson. The food centers on Low Glycemic index foods that are of course – slow carbs. Other components of the diet are that it is balanced with low fat, high fiber foods – same as many of the other effective diets in this list. Another component is the introduction of whey protein for shakes. I love whey protein shakes. They help you feel full, have loads of protein and are great if you are on strenuous exercise routine (especially weights). There is an assisting exercise program if you want. One of the big differentiators of this diet is that you order all the food from Nutrisystem – 28 days worth.
