For a low-cost standard mixer, this Sunbeam combination hand and stand mixer is more than adequate to handle the most common mixing tasks: cookie batter, cake and pancake mix, egg whites, etc. The mixer includes dough hooks, but for just $39.99 you shouldn’t expect it to perform the heavy-duty dough kneading that’s typically found with top-price models. There’s more than enough to like with this Sunbeam mixer if you appreciate the convenience of a stationary mixer with a handheld option. A compact, lightweight design and very competent functions make this Sunbeam mixer a pleasing machine.
