Breville BEM800XL Review
A handsome die-cast metal stand mixer, this Breville model can handle most heavy tasks with 550 watts. The unique planetary mixing action of the blades covers the sides and the bottom of the bowl with no section untouched. An especially handy accessory is the scraper blade, which does just what its name suggests: scrape the inside of the bowl to get a most thorough mix. The digital timer and display shows the speed and mixing function and automatically shuts off the machine at the end of its time. For $269.99, this Breville more than exceeds expectations and makes up for the high price.
