Sony KDL32BX330 Review
The Sony KDL32BX330 is at the bottom of Sony’s LCD TV list for 2012 and early 2013 but it will perform solidly, last a long time, and provide easy usability and functionality. Picture Black levels on the 32BX330 appear inky in the bottom and top bars of 16:9 anamorphic content but lack some depth in the actual images. More shadow detail is available by turning up the Brightness control in the Picture setting menu, but this will cause a loss of contrast and black levels. Off angle viewing is acceptable on this TV, with contrast starting to decrease at about 30 degrees off center. The remote control and menu operation is much better than all the 2nd Tier manufactured TVs this model competes with. Pricing is consistently around $330 – very compelling for a Sony product.
