This sleigh style convertible crib is a wonderful addition to any nursery. It is missing the large drawer that many cribs offer at the bottom. That shouldn’t be a problem if there is another place for the baby’s diapers, wipes, clothes, toys and anything else a new mom would need to keep off the floor. Since safety is one of the biggest concerns, the sides are fixed so accidents are less likely to occur. Buying a Stork Craft will save having to buy a child bed later on, as it converts from a standard crib to a day bed, then eventually into a regular twin sized bed. To convert it into a full sized bed with a headboard and footboard, metal bed rails will need to be purchased separately.
It can be used from newborn through age 2. The crib and all its part are made of wood, and the side is fixed for additional stability. The crib can be purchased online for less than $200.

Strengths
Nobody likes scratching their heads in bewilderment trying to assemble something, but the instructions are permanently attached and this crib is designed to be easy to assemble. The fact that it converts from a crib to a child’s bed is a major money saver for parents on a budget who don’t want to have to shell out several hundred more bucks for another bed. This crib is JPMA certified, and it meets or exceeds all U.S. and Canadian standards. The Stork Craft Tuscany crib comes in a variety of finishes: Black, Cherry, Cognac, Natural, Oak, White, and more. Weaknesses The metal rails to convert the crib to a child’s bed must be purchased separately, so that’s extra money spent when the baby outgrows the crib. The mattress is sold separately, and some parents reported difficulty in finding the right size mattress. There is a strong chemical smell to the piece the first time they are opened, so it may be best to let the crib air out |
