This may be one of the more expensive dishwashers on the top 10 list, but it operates at whisper quiet levels. This KitchenAid dishwasher has a sensor wash cycle that detects the best, and the most efficient washing settings for every wash. Furthermore, the 4 stainless steel washing arms hit dishes at all the angles needed to get them as clean as possible. The upper rack has manual adjustments so even the most awkward dishes are going to fit in this one. I was especially pleased with the selection of wash cycles and wash levels. This dishwasher is expensive at $799, but it offers effective cleaning power and a dazzling array of features.
