JVC Piscio GC-WP10
By Brian Jones
For an inexpensive waterproof pocket camcorder, the JVC Piscio GC-WP10 makes recording and sharing 1080p HD video easy and fun. The camera withstands water splashes and submersions up to 10 feet, making it safe to bring to the pool, the beach, snorkeling, and white water rafting. With a USB connector that pops out, you can quickly upload videos to Facebook or YouTube. While the 5 MP camera has no flash, it still takes photos in low light fairly well. You can choose to shoot video in 30 fps or 60 fps if you’re trying to capture a lot of action. The touch panel controls are simple enough to figure out. While the audio quality may not be that great, the camcorder still provides good overall quality for the price, $84.99.
