MindWare 32016 Review

Qwirkle Board Game  9.5/10

Mindware Qwirkle Board Game
In a clever twist on the game Uno, players attempt to build lines of blocks featuring the same color or shape. The grid of tiles that develops resembles a Scrabble board. One of the great aspects of Qwirkle is that you can set up anywhere as long as you have a large enough playing space. The rules are simple enough for young children to grasp, but there are so many possible combinations of colors and shapes that you and older kids will be drawn in by the strategy and logic involved. Games typically last 30 to 45 minutes, which can help kids learn to focus for long stretches. Qwirkle is available for $20.62.
