Cleveland CG16

The Cleveland CG16 Tour Irons are oh so comfortable both at set up and to look at. There is something inviting and dangerous about the matte black finish – as if the color itself is going to help you deliver a punishing blow. I also like the fact that there is no light reflection off the top of the club. This is an offset iron with lots of possibilities for both the low to higher handicap player. It can range across the board even though this Tour variety has a smaller face and head and thus smaller sweet spot than the CG16 non-Tour club. It has a modest cavity back design with a progressive offset (more offset for longer irons, less offset for shorter). It also has some enhancements for distance on off center shots. $800 as of spring 2012.
