Taylor Made Burner 2.0 HP

This mid to high handicap focused set is cavity backed with a large sweet spot and lots of foregiveness. I like the set up of the club for the most part but the head leans back (toe up) a little too much for me. The grip is nice, the Taylor Made Aero grip with a soft tacky rubber feel. The shaft can be either steel or graphite depending on your preference – both labeled Burner 2.0. The set comes 4-PW with an alternate wedge of 50 degrees thrown in. The low handicap golfer will not be attracted to this set due to how much offset the club has at impact. The Taylor Made Burner 2.0 irons are not extremely precise but certainly will be a big improvement over what most 12 to 20 handicap golfers carry in their bag. They are very forgiving and the distances produced with medium swing speeds are excellent. The set runs around $399 to $499 depending on the shaft and options. There are also seniors shafts available.
