With a sleek, almost retro design, the Electrolux EW27MC65JS comes at a hefty price tag: $3549. However, its intuitive controls and high-quality cooking performance make it a valuable purchase for the baking aficionado. The designers clearly had aesthetics in mind; for instance, the controls light up with the touch of a button, but after you program your settings, all the other lights fade out again. This results in an elegant, unobtrusive display. Furthermore, the racks slide out easily, making it easy to set large, heavy dishes in the oven without risking burns. We were also impressed with the baking performance; meals come out perfectly cooked and heated.
