Clinique Happy

Clinique Happy FragranceReleased in 1997, Clinique Happy is Clinique’s best selling female fragrance. Jim Nevins, Clinique’s creative director was watching a biography of Judy Garland on the A&E channel one night and on came the song, “Come On Get Happy”. Nevins claims he thought to himself, “Who doesn’t want to be happy?” And thus, Clinique’s Happy was born. It’s an light-hearted, fresh scent that’s an easy, anytime wear. The adjective that seems to surface consistently from fans is “uplifting”. Who knows, perhaps there really is something to it’s name. I love that it comes in a purse size perfume roll-on. It’s so easy to fit into a night bag for a scent touch up. For a long lasting perfume, it’s a steal. Eau de Parfum $18.00 – $60.00.

It is classified as a floral and it’s notes are:

Top – Ruby Red Grapefruit, Bergamot, West Indian Mandarin Tree Blossom, High Altitude Laurel

Middle – Boysenberry Bush Flower, Morning Dew Orchid, Melati Blossom

Base – Hawaiian Wedding Flower, White Crinium Lily, Chinese Golden Magnolia, Spring Magnolia Blossoms
