"Samsung

Samsung is known for their very powerful LED backlighting – in this case edge lit LED backlighting. The Samsung UN32EH4000 has a smart package, foregoing 1080p resolution to help hold the cost down and instead inputting LED lighting. In 32” TVs it is very hard to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p due to the screen size, pixel size difference. It’s just not very noticeable. However, Samsung has included some of the clear coat screen technology in this TV which will really show on-screen background lighting great with the LEDs.

Off-center viewing will be better than most LCD TVs although it does still lose contrast at off center angles. This starts at around 30 degrees off center.
