\nThis is one of the most common Nikon lenses and probably one of the most useful. It is included with most of the camera bodies because it is one of the most practical lenses out there that applies to just about every situation. The 3x zoom takes you close enough to the action if you need it while the 18mm focal length is pretty close to being wide angle. The apertures are not too great but if used in good light situations, this lens will perform great. It is also one of the lighter lenses available out there. This lens can be had for $199.99.
